To support our development, we are recruiting Technicians who will carry out maintenance and repair of the various equipment installed on the trucks and trailers.
Main responsibilities
- Carry out regular maintenance of refrigeration units
- Diagnose and evaluate repairs to be made
- Repair refrigeration units
- Complete documentation of maintenance and/or repairs
- Work as part of a team for the different needs
- Respond to emergency calls (24/7) on a rotating basis
- Travel to perform roadside repairs on a rotating shift
- Take proper care of your workspace and that of your co-workers
- All other related tasks.
Skill profile
Training / Experience / Certification:
- DEP in mechanics.
- 2 years of experience as a service technician
Skills and Abilities Required:
- in the heavy vehicle / construction equipment / automotive industry.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Be responsible and honest
- Ability to work outdoors and at heights.
Experience:
- Knowledge of refrigeration and heating units as well as knowledge of diesel mechanics, electrical and electronic components an asset
Working Conditions
Work environment :
- Workshop training, followed by roadside interventions.
Work schedule: :
- Day & Evening, Night and Weekend calls on rotation (1 every 8 weeks).
Physical effort :
- Moderate, working upright both in the workshop and on the road
Salary Range:
- From $25 to $40
